Kidderminster Beer and Cider Festival 2018

Kidderminster Town Hall

The magnificent Kidderminster Town Hall is our setting for the 2018 festival featuring 48 beers plus 15 ciders and perries, soft drinks and a selection of wines (including locally produced wines and fruit wines). It's just a ten minute walk from Kidderminster railway station.

This year we are celebrating the role of Women in Brewing. We will be providing a selection of interesting and unusual beers from nearby and farther afield. The selection will including and highlighting beers produced by women. All beer styles will be there, from golden ales, rich and hoppy bitters, copper ales, full-flavoured IPAs culminating with dark mysterious porters and stouts. There will be beer styles to suit everyone and all tastes!

With a rich cider heritage in the area, we will offer a selection from local producers displaying the marvellous range of flavours and styles being produced.

There will also be a selection of wines including locally produced fragrant delicious grape wines to enjoy.

Entertainment on the Friday evening entertainment will be provided by local dance collective BellyFusion and Irish duo the Ranters. Both acts are returning following successful previous visits.

Tutored tasting session for beer on the Saturday Afternoon at 1:30 is available at a cost of just £3. If you'd like to know a little more about the subtleties of beers then sign up at the Tokens Stall.

Seating and tables will be in the main hall - a relaxed festival with Hot Food and cold snacks is available.

Designated Driver Scheme – Free admission and 2 soft drinks, no alcohol.

Children - Well-behaved children before 8pm accompanied by two family responsible adults in the main hall. Children's drinks will be available.

Dogs - Well-behaved dogs kept on a lead at all times are allowed in the main hall but not in the bar. Guide dogs are welcome in all areas

Entry is just £2, £3 on Friday evening after 5pm. Entry for CAMRA members is free for all sessions, but not the beer and you'd still need a festival glass within the Entrance package. Free re-admission on following days is also available for those that preserve their wrist bands intact. Souvenir glass £2 (refundable).
