Our AGM is on Tuesday 6 February in the Severn Valley Suite at the SVR station, Kidderminster.

The room will be ours even though refurbishment of the King & Castle is planned for that time. 7.30pm for a prompt start at 8.

With the beer scores from both our beer scoring tours and from the rest of the year since February, we’ll be well placed to make our nominations for the Good Beer Guide 2019. There’ll be interval sandwiches and a raffle - all contributions welcome. Especially liquid and edible ones!

Nominations for Branch officer positions are being sought. The nomination form and how to nominate are reproduced below. We are in particular need of a Social Secretary since Ang is standing down for a bicycling rest after doing a great job of arranging many successful events this year. How about it - fancy arranging social events?

After the short formal business of the AGM, we’ll move on to Good Beer Guide nominations for which we have 14 places. Beer quality in local pubs is very good and has been improving over recent years. Competition is stiff and it should be an interesting discussion!

And the year wouldn’t be complete without finding out who has won the Members’ Beer Scoring Competition. Points mean Prizes - bottled, of course!
