A games box in the bar has quirky contents that keeps both adults and children amused. The spacious garden has plenty of seating, great for hot summer days. Locals, walkers and families with well-behaved children are all welcomed at this traditional village pub. Bar meals are served from the kitchen at lunchtimes with a full menu in the evenings. On Sundays, traditional lunches are served until 5pm. Visiting food vans add to the food interest. Being close to Shrawley Woods, it's well placed for a pint after a walk, and dogs are welcome. It’s an ideal place for ramblers and dog walkers with parking available at the back and an honesty box that helps to keep the facility available. if leaving the premises, the parking fee is £3. Level access is from the rear car park, no adapted WC.
