See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
Riverside pub and dining venue, at the end of a private road near the river, which was once a cider house and has been a pub since 1814. It was modernised and completely refurbished in 2022, with an outside pizza oven added. The ramped access leads up to a beer terrace overlooking the river Severn and inside there are two rooms. The bar to the left, with a log burner, for conversation and bar meals, and to the right an extensive lounge and dining area with a central stove. Meals are available lunchtimes and evenings all week (except Sunday evenings). The pub may close before 11pm if it's quiet. In summer it's pleasant to relax on the front terrace or in the riverside garden watching the river and boats going by. Visiting boats can tie up at the landing stage and the pub also has fishing rights for 12 pegs. Dogs are welcome in the bar, and there is drinking water from a barrel on the terrace. Ramp up from the car park and single step access to the pub and WCs (not adapted).
