See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
Previously a hotel, it was reopened as a pub and live music venue. The large comfortable lounge bar is decorated with vinyl LPs and covers setting the scene as a pub by day and music venue by night. The latest bands are on Facebook, and open-mic night is Thursday. At the back there's a small tranquil secluded garden with artistic furniture and decorations, and to the front an enclosed seating area. The integral Mimi's Bistro serves food for the pub with Mediterranean specialities from a wood-fired oven during the day. Breakfast is served from 9-11.30am on days when open. There are also themed food evenings on Fridays and Saturdays 7-9.30pm in the bistro and the bar, booking is advised. Two real ales on the bar along with a gin menu. Discount of 20p/pint is offered to CAMRA members on real ales. An interesting and unusual venue, worth a visit. Level access to the bar and WC (not adapted).
