Family-owned coffee shop by day and cocktail bar by night. Hobson's Town Crier is on handpump, chosen because it has the same initials as the venue, and also a few keg beers. The fridge has bottles and cans such as from Hook Norton, Beavertown, Duvel and Leffe. Food offered is cakes, biscuits, toasties, rolls and paninis. Dogs are welcome, and so are children until 9pm. Background music plays by day before the spacious single room transforms in the evening to become a lively cocktail bar and entertainments venue. The fully adapted WC has baby-changing facilities and there is a step up from the street which may need some assistance from a friend or carer.
